“Fortunately, the owners of the apartment contacted me in time, when there was still time to deal with all the client’s changes in the apartment, from adjustments in the installations to the detailed design of the bathroom, floor surfaces, type of doors, etc. After taking over the apartment, we completely furnished the interior – with custom-made furniture, elements, lamps, wallpaper and textiles – and handed over everything to the clients on a so-called turnkey basis,” says architect Tereza Janků.

She chose 64.5 m for the interior2 a basic color palette in neutral grey-beige tones with black accents and darker-toned veneer on the furniture, emanating from the dark-stained oak floor.

Brown marble-decorated tiles are used in the entrance hall, which then flows seamlessly into the bathroom, where it is used on the floor and walls.

The cosiness of the space

In the interior, the architect focused not only on the overall coziness of the space, but also on high-quality and interesting lighting fixtures, for example, she used a lamp from the Czech manufacturer Brokis above the dining table.

An interesting feature is also the local use of electrical end elements from the manufacturer Berker from the R.8 series.

Custom furniture

In the bedroom there is a separate wardrobe, a double bed with integrated tables and an upholstered velvet headboard, which the architect had custom-made by Hanák furniture.

All other built-in furniture is made to order from super matt HPL material in a grey-beige shade combined with dark stained veneer. The worktop for the kitchen is made of compact board.
