The project proposes that, starting next year, when the hydroelectric concessions under national jurisdiction end, “the administration, operation and exploitation of each one of the hydroelectric uses duly granted in concession will be assumed by Energía Argentina SA (Enarsa), without prejudice to the possible responsibilities for the obligations assumed by the current concessionaires”.

In addition, the project establishes that Enarsa “should be associated with the province/s holder/s of the domain of the water resource involved in the hydroelectric uses referred to in the preceding article, through agreements under the conditions and parameters that the parties agree on”.

As an option for each case, the project opens the door so that the participation of private capital can be incorporated.
