Honea Path (South Carolina) – It must be an unbearable nightmare! Kyleen Waltman (38) was attacked by three pit bulls on the open road on Monday. When the US-American from Honea Path woke up in the hospital, both her arms had already been amputated. More limbs could follow, reports currently Daily Mail!
Throwback: The 38-year-old was out walking Ball Road around 10.30am on Monday when the beasts pounced on her out of nowhere. Although a witness saw the cruel attack, he intervened too late.
The gun owner drew his pistol and fired it in the air. The pit bulls then took off. Kyleen Waltman was then flown to Prisma Health Greenville.
“Without [den Passanten] my sister wouldn’t be here,” the victim’s sister, Shenna Green, told multiple media outlets. “At that point, they couldn’t even say who she was (…) She didn’t deserve it. She was a good person. She helped everyone.”

But who was responsible for the attack by the pit bulls?
Two days after the horrific incident, Justin Minor, who is said to own the animals, was arrested. The man was released a day later on $15,000 bail after he reportedly appeared before the judge, Susan Gladden, with tears in his eyes.
It is still unclear why the pit bulls were alone on the street. However, local news outlets have photographed signs reading “beware of dogs” around the accused’s property.
The four-legged friends were confiscated by the Abbeville County Veterinary Services. The sheriff’s office is conducting an investigation into the attack.
