Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up. The two Hollywood stars are launching a new film studio, Artists Equity, with the duo always looking to partner with all kinds of filmmakers for future films.
Affleck and Damon together collected more than ten billion euros thanks to their successful films. They already have 110 films to their credit, and then another series of screenplays and series for which they were active as producers or writers. The gentlemen were therefore quickly convinced that they will lead the company. Their first project is a film about the true story behind the creation of the iconic Air Jordan brand. Both star in the film, with Affleck also directing. The film, which will be made at the request of media company Skydance Sports, will be released next year via Amazon. The company expects to release three projects in 2023, with plans to scale to a minimum of five projects per year in the future
