There were two crashes in the Ore Mountains on Thursday evening: on the B95 near Annaberg-Buchholz and on the village street in Elterlein.

At around 5.30 p.m. there was a crash on the B95 between the Wiesenbad thermal baths and Annaberg-Buchholz. Three vehicles collided at the Zschopautal crossing.
According to initial information from the scene of the accident, two people were injured and are said to have been taken to a hospital. The B95 had to be completely blocked. “Drivers who know the area are asked to drive around the area,” the police said.
Due to the closure, traffic jams formed on the B95 on Thursday evening. Several fire brigades were on site, the emergency services took care of the recovery of the vehicles.

About half an hour later, around 6 p.m., there was a crash on Dorfstraße in Hermannsdorf, a district of Elterlein. A pizza car collided with a Renault. Here, too, several people are said to have been injured and then taken to a hospital.
The fire brigades from Hermannsdorf and Elterlein were deployed. Equipment was tied up, the batteries disconnected.
The village street was completely blocked on Thursday evening. The police are also investigating this accident.
