Several people died in a shooting at a Walmart store in Chesapeake, in the US state of Virginia, in the United States.
Although the exact number of victims is unknown, a police spokesman indicated that it is less than ten.
The shooter will be the store manager, who after shooting customers and employees several times, committed suicide.
The police were alerted to the incident at 22:12 on Tuesday (3:12 on Wednesday in mainland Portugal), when the supermarket was still open.

Around 40 emergency vehicles have been deployed to the site, where a significant police operation is also deployed.
Walmart said it was “shocked by this tragic event”.
The authorities asked people residing in the area and the relatives of those who may have been in the supermarket at the time to go to the local convention center.
Chesapeake is a city of about 250,000 people and is part of the Virginia Beach and Norfolk metropolitan area.
