The Vale Universidade Indígena program is accepting applications for the 2022 selection process until next Thursday (31).
Interested parties must register via the e-mail address www.valeuniversidade.ms.gov.br until 4 pm on March 31. According to the government news website, there is no forecast of extension of the deadline.
The objective of the program is to give an opportunity to indigenous academics from UEMS (State University of Mato Grosso do Sul), supporting their permanence in the institution, through the granting of social benefits.
Students who prove individual income equal to or less than two and a half minimum wages and a monthly family income not exceeding four minimum wages, considered gross income, can enroll in the Vale Universidade Indígena Program.
They must also meet requirements such as: being an Indian, not having another higher-level undergraduate course and being enrolled in the Cadastro Único for social programs of the federal government, upon presentation of the NIS (Social Identification Number) cadastral update cover sheet.
