A Venezuelan-flagged cargo plane sanctioned by the United States and belonging to an Iranian company was immobilized by the national government after landing at Ezeiza airport. In the last hours, the journalist Damian Pachter in the Israel Today media leaked the alleged photos of the Iranians who were traveling in it.

The Boeing 747 belonging to the airline Mahan Air and coming from Caracas, entered the country last Monday after local intelligence services received an alert from Uruguay after this country refused to approve its entry for the refueling of the plane. .

After 48 hours, local authorities stopped the aircraft and detained the crew, which numbered 19 people, including 14 Venezuelans and five Iranian citizens who identified themselves as: Mohammad Khosraviaragh; Gholamreza Ghasemi; Mahdi Mouseli; Saeid Vali Zadeh; and, Abdulbaset Mohammadi.

International analyst Andrei Serbin Pont confirmed Ghasemi’s identity. “He is the Gholamreza Ghasemi of Qeshm and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard,” he said on social media.

The citizens of Venezuela were released and the natives of Iran would be waiting for their return to Tehran on a regular commercial flight. At the moment, there are no international arrest warrants or any other type of alert.

The Justice requested reports from Immigration, PSA, ANAC and Customs before deciding whether to release the Venezuelan aircraft. The opposition filed a complaint and demanded information from the Government.
