A lot of water can flow to the party conventions that will close the slates for this year’s elections, between July and August, but the federal deputy Rosana Valle is the favorite of Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) to be his deputy in the race for the Government of São Paulo.
Journalist and native of Santos, Rosana migrated from PSB to PL in Jair Bolsonaro at the end of the party window, on April 1st. She has already worked in the elaboration of the government program of the former Minister of Infrastructure and has a great relationship with the pre-candidate and with the president.
With the uncertainty of presenter José Luiz Datena (PSC) about the candidacy for the Senate on Tarcísio’s ticket, however, there is still room for a brake of tidying up in the group.
Former Fiesp president Paulo Skaf (Republicans) is seen as a possible plan B to run for senator and vice governor.
Asked recently about who will accompany him on the ticket, Tarcísio treated Skaf as a “possibility”, but stressed that a woman would be a “great request”.
In April, when she joined the PL, Rosana – who has followed the pre-candidate in some agendas across the state – said that “there was a poll”, but that the decision had not been taken.
