Will Smith prepares his return to the cinema after slapping Chris Rock

Mexico.- Will Smith is already planning his return to the big screen with the sequel to “I’m legend”, although to do it himself he will have to take charge of the production, and this due to the controversy in which he was involved after slapping Chris Rock in the Oscar.

The American actor is already preparing a great deal for the cinema of Hollywood after remaining with a low profile after being banned from the Oscars for the next 10 years because at the last gala he slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage for making a joke at the expense of his wife’s baldness Jada Pinkett Smith.

According to information from the Daily Mail, the 53-year-old actor is taking matters into his own hands with a self-produced sequel to his 2007 film “I Am Legend” through his company Westbrook Media.

“The script is being written mentioning his character and, so far, Will remains on the project,” a source told The Sun.

“The concept is yet to be signed off by Warner Brothers, but there has been no indication that Will is out. Obviously, he is the producer of the film.”

In addition, the outlet reported that Will himself is in therapy and is taking time away from the public eye.

In “I Am Legend,” directed by Francis Lawrence, “The Fresh Prince” plays Robert Neville, a scientist who appears to be the last human survivor of a plague that turns people into zombies.

In the sequel, Will returns to this character, now working to cure a zombie apocalypse in New York.
