Tuesday August 9 Clarion will make another edition of Democracy and Development, the cycle that seeks to address the institutional, economic and social challenges of our country with a plural and long-term perspective. Entrepreneurs and officials will participate, coordinated by journalists from the newspaper.

The meeting will be gratuitous at Malba and the theme will be “Agribusiness for development”.

The day will begin at 08:30 with a table on “Agricultural products and their value chains” where the president of the Argentine Rural Society (SRA) will speak Nicholas Pine and their peers from the Argentine Rural Confederations (CRA) George Chemes, of Coninagro Carlos Iannizzotto Y of the Argentine Agrarian Federation (FAA) Carlos Achetoni.

In addition to the president of the Argentine Meat Exporters Consortium (ABC) Mario Ravettino and his peers from the Association of the Argentine Soybean Chain (Acsoja) Luis Zubizarreta, from Maizar Pedro Vigneau and from the Argentine Association of Direct Sowing Producers (Aapresid) María Beatriz “Pilu” Giraudo.

Then they will present on the theme “Can we be the supermarket of the world?”, Roberto Urquía from General Deheza Oil (AGD), Martín Otero Monsegur (San Miguel), Adolfo Storni (Extraberries), Alejandro Vigil (The Enemy) and Ignacio Noel (Morixe).

The last topic will be “Policies to promote the sector” of the field, with the presentations of the Secretary of Agriculture of the Nation Juan Jose Bahillo Governor of Entre Rios Gustavo Bordeaux, his pair of Missions Oscar Herrera Ahuad, the national deputy of Together for Change Ricardo Buryaile and the Director General of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) Manuel Otero.
