With almost 800 cattle, horses and sheep, they inaugurated the National Exhibition of Breeds in Corrientes

“We have to think about production.” With that phrase, the governor of Corrientes, Gustavo Valdés, inaugurated the National Dog Show which takes place from Monday to Thursday, on the grounds of the Rural Society of that province.

During the official opening of the exhibition, organized by Expoagrothe president of Corrientes congratulated the breeders and announced that “the provincial government will continue to support everything generated by the agricultural sector.”

At noon, after the classification oaths of the Brahman breeders to muzzle, the ribbon cutting was held that formally opened the event that concentrates almost 800 players in the grounds of the Rural Society of Corrientes.

Also present at the event were the Ministers of Production and Security of the province, Claudio Anselmo and Buenaventura Duarterespectively, the national deputy for Corrientes, Ingrid Jetterthe mayor of Riachuelo, Martin Jetter and the president of the Rural Society of Corrientes, Frederick Palma.

Likewise, the owners of breeders’ associations of the breeds participated. Brangus, Brahman and Dorper; the president of the board of Exponenciar, Albert Marina and the CEO of the company, Martin Schvartzmanand representatives of productive entities at the national and provincial levels.

After the formal act of launching the expo, Governor Valdés said: “Receiving this exhibition is fabulous and we are going to continue facilitating everything that our field generates”. Likewise, the president considered that “as a government we are proud of our field men and women. Thanks to their work we have the quality of cattle that we can see in this show”.

Lastly, Valdés called for “doing an adventurous future”. And he concluded: “This is the Homeland, this is Corrientes and this is Argentina.”

Juras of Brahman and Brangus

Activity at the National Breed Show continues this Monday with the classification swearing-in for the National Brangus and Brahman Calf Shows. At the end of the day, the great champions of the “mother race”and at noon this Tuesday it will be time for the Brangus calves.

Such is the expectation and interest that has caused the event that until now has the support of the Government of the Province of Corrientes; the sponsorship from Agripay, Ford, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation, RUS Agro; sponsored by Akron, Banco de Corrientes, Biogenesis Bagó, CDV, Banco Galicia, the Government of Chaco, IPCVA, Tecnovax-Providean, TRU-TEST, Swift and Vetanco. Likewise, the sales of the Exhibition will be in charge of Colombo and Magliano and Ivan LO´ Farrell.
