Confident, he praised the walk alongside Bolsonaro and said that there is no help from the president to opponents
Without the support of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), state deputy Renan Contar (PRTB), Captain Contar was the last to launch his candidacy for the state government this Friday (5), alongside his deputy, lawyer Humberto Sávio Abussafi Figueiró (PRTB) in full plate.
Confident, he praised the walk alongside Bolsonaro and said that there is no help from the president to any of his opponents. “There is no official support for the rival, Bolsonaro did not support him, but regardless of that and what the press wants to disclose, my support is unrestricted, here I really support the president”, he commented.
That’s because Bolsonaro made a call on Thursday night to Tereza Cristina (PP) and Eduardo Riedel (PSDB), also a candidate for governor of the state, during the announcement of Tereza’s alternate to the Senate.
Contar also said that he will build a government that works for the people, with renewal. “I want to govern the state because Mato Grosso do Sul deserves renewal, transformation, a government that works for the people, no longer for a political group, but with transparency and dignity. I want to bring humanization, efficiency, important reforms that must be carried out”, scored.
The event was held at the Grand Park Hotel, on Avenida Afonso Pena, in Campo Grande, and also made official 25 candidates for state deputy and 9 for federal deputy, and will be supported by Avante.
For Humberto Figueiró, the alliance with Contar means putting at the disposal of the population, names of those who have a purpose with the minority, through the fight against inequality and job creation, also focusing on the economy.
“We are managing to deliver to the population a concrete possibility of a political project with purpose, without contamination of the old policy. A policy that is not made by professional politicians. We want to end the inequality between the son of the poor and the rich, we want to interfere in the lives of our children and grandchildren, of the children of our State”, he emphasized.
In the last lawsuit- In 2018, Contar was a surprise in the elections, being the most voted state deputy for the Legislative Assembly with 78,390 votes. In his term, he showed himself as an opposition to Governor Reinaldo Azambuja (PSDB), even trying to ask for the impeachment of the Chief Executive, but without success due to lack of support from other colleagues.
