Woman shot in 'panic house' in León

Leon, Guanajuato.- A woman who used drugs in an alleged “panic house”, was attacked with bullets in the Colonia San Jose del Durannear the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM)in Lion.

The victim, until now, has not been identified, but officials at the scene commented that his state of health was reported to be delicate, although out of danger.

However, several shell casings from long weapons were seized at the scene.

The events occurred minutes after 6:00 p.m. this Friday, on the Los Tepetates Boulevard corner with Monte Malintzi street, in the colony San José del Duran.

Witnesses mentioned that the approximately 20-year-old girl was in said “panic house” when several men arrived in a vehicle.

One of them got out and with a long gun began to shoot repeatedly. It was not confirmed if the attack was directly against the woman, but she was injured.

Those responsible managed to escape and neighbors who heard the shots called 911.

Paramedics went to the scene and when giving the first aid maneuvers to the young woman, they transferred her to a hospital in delicate conditions, but they did not put her life at risk.
