Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane missed the entire World Cup in Qatar due to injury.
do-ha Is that bitter! African champion Senegal must at the Soccer World Cup in Qatar get by without his superstar Sadio Mané (30).
The FC Bayern Munich striker is completely out of action for the tournament, which begins on Sunday, due to an injury to his right fibula head. This was announced by the Senegalese association on Thursday in Doha.
Until the end, the team had hoped that Mané could possibly enter the World Cup at a later date. But nothing came of it.
“Unfortunately, today’s MRI has shown us that things are not going as well as we had imagined. We have therefore decided to declare Sadio’s withdrawal from the World Cup,” team doctor Manuel Afonso was quoted as saying on the Senegalese Twitter account.
For this curious reason, Germany’s group opponents canceled the last World Cup test
According to information from the “picture” Mané will now be operated on in Innsbruck from Thursday.
