The young man’s whereabouts were passed on to his family through a Facebook post.
Jeferson de Jesus Silva, 25, who had been missing since last Tuesday (14), was found yesterday afternoon (17), near the Homex invasion, in Jardim Centro Oeste.
In contact with the boy’s mother, Olga Maria de Jesus, 50, she informed that she was informed of where her son was through a Facebook post. “He was at someone’s house, a girl saw him and told us.”
The case – Jefferson had been missing since last Tuesday (14), when he left the rehab clinic where he was hospitalized due to drug problems. Before leaving the place, the hairdresser contacted the mother by phone, and this was the last time that Olga heard from her son.
According to the mother’s account, she had gone to visit her son at the rehabilitation clinic on Sunday (12), when the young man informed him that he no longer wanted to stay there because he was not feeling well. She says that at the time she noticed her son’s sad face. He had been hospitalized for about a month and a half, after going to the center of his own volition.
Jefferson underwent medical tests recently, tested positive for HIV, and has been undergoing treatment ever since. According to his mother, the diagnosis left him emotionally fragile, which creates an even greater concern.
