The Foxone of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema and television, will have a new version in serial format. The new production will have the Spanish actor Miguel Bernardeau as protagonist.
The interpreter, known for his role as Guzmán in the Netflix smash hit Elite, will play the iconic masked vigilante within a cast that will also lead Renata Notni. The Mexican actress will play the love of her youth, Lolita Márquez.
The fiction will be co-directed by the Spanish director Javier Quintaswhose credits include episodes of MoneyHeist Y sky red, the series with Lali Esposito. The other director is Miguel Ángel Vivas, the same as locked-up Y unauthorized lifeand the script is by Carlos Portela (Wolfsbane, Velvet Collection).
As advanced Varietythe series will be filmed in different locations of the Canary Islands, in Spain. The executive production is carried out by John Gertz and Secuoya Studios, with David Martínez, David Cotarelo and Ángela Agudo at the helm.
The new staging of Diego de la Vega will arrive in a “modern” version of the hero, point out its filmmakers. The series will consist of 10 episodes and will air on Amazon Prime Video in the United States, Latin America and Spain.
