Doctors, nurses, teachers, students, volunteers – everyone who helps to cope with the pandemic were invited to the charity show-constructor “Metamorphoses. Wives of Artists” in Yekaterinburg. The audience saw a collage performance consisting of eight works by Anton Chekhov and Ivan Bunin.
“These are very painful stories, they are about the fate of people. We never cease to be amazed at what we play. It happens to us, we see these parallels and prototypes of characters that we meet in life. This is called metamorphosis, it is in all the stories of Chekhov and Bunin “, – TASS reports the words of actors Alexander and Alexandra Kizhaev.
The Academy held a one-day festival in Yekaterinburg. The guests were also awaited by the author’s lecture by Ernest Orlov, deputy director for scientific work of the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature named after V.I.Dal Ernest Orlov, on the life and work of Chekhov. Director Andrei Levitsky held a master class for actors and students of specialized universities, as well as the exhibition “Chekhov. Life Line” created jointly with the A. Chekhov Museum-Reserve “Melikhovo”.
In addition to Yekaterinburg, the festival has already visited Perm and Nizhny Tagil for one day, and on October 13 it will arrive in Chelyabinsk.
