Online stations and system receive Pipoco occurrences; check out

Revelers who have problems and need to register police incidents during Pipoco, this Tuesday (14), will be able to access the service at the party or on the internet.

According to the Civil Police, posts installed in Morro do Gato, Avenida Marquês de Leão and Farol da Barra will be available during the event.

In addition, the 14th Police Station in Barra will have a reinforced staff and, also in the circuits, the Special Police Stations for Women (Deams) in Brotas and Periperi will also carry out the campaign “Do not shut up” with the distribution of ribbons alluding to the theme, with the aim of encouraging complaints by victims who suffer harassment during the Carnival festivities.

For those who wish to register digitally, the Virtual Police Station will be available for any occurrences. More than 18 crimes and non-criminal facts can be registered by the platform.

Online Flagrantes Center

For the first time, the party will feature the Flagrantes Online Center. The initiative, which already operates in the Special Police Stations for Women and in some Regional Coordinating Offices of the Interior Police, will make its debut in the revelry at four posts on the Dodô circuit and two on Osmar.

Spaces equipped with a high-definition camera, condenser microphone, headphones and Microsoft Teams platform will be located at the Central de Flagrantes posts on Rua Alfredo Magalhães, at Av. Centenary, on the UFBA campus on Av. Oceanica, on Av. Milton Santos, in Praça da Piedade and in Passeio Público. The system has already been tested in other major events of the season, such as the Festival da Virada and Lavagem de Itapuã.

The flagrantes carried out online are accompanied and signed by a delegate remotely and are immediately reported to the Justice, through the pioneering interoperability in Brazil between the Sinesp PPE, Civil Police system, and the PJe, of the Judiciary Power. The initiative guarantees even more agility to police procedures, as explained by the Delegate General of the Civil Police of Bahia, Heloísa Campos de Brito.
