Nominated films in horticulture
The “night” here begins during the day. At 12:00 to be precise, when the first of five Oscar-nominated films opens. This year the program looks like this:
- 12:00 p.m., “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
- 3:00 p.m., “Aftersun”
- 5:00 p.m., “All the Beauty and the Bloodshed”
- 7:15 p.m., “Tar”
- 10:15 p.m., “The Whale”
After the last film, the evening’s live program begins, and with it the transmission from Los Angeles. This part of the event is free; Counting tickets are available from 11:30 p.m. at the box office of the Gartenbaukino.
If you want a good (and above all guaranteed!) seat for Oscar night in Vienna, you should get tickets for “The Whale”, the last film before the start of the broadcast. And don’t despair if there are only seats left in the less popular rows – after the credits the “big move” takes its course in the hall anyway.
