Duque said he had received proposals from “parties, unions, think tanks and ideological coalitions“, among other. “We want to sit down with everyone to resolve this situation effectively, quickly,” he indicated in his daily program.
The president explained what some of the proposals he received have been, but did not go into many details about who, in particular, were those who met with him. He limited himself to mentioning the union council and ANDI, but on politicians reiterated that they were only parties.
On the latter, Snail News noted that the Casa de Nariño were the presidents of two communities: Gabriel Velasco, president of the Democratic Center, and Ómar Yepes, president of the Conservative Party. In addition, he indicated that former senator Álvaro Uribe attended by video call.

The displeasure of the parties that were not invited to dialogue with Duque about the replacement of the tax reform
Apart from those previously mentioned, the other communities complained that they had not been included in the dialogue. Radical Change was emphatic in clarifying that he was not invited:

Representative Katherine Miranda, from the Green Party, described the great social dialogue that Duque spoke about as “A great mockery” because it only “cited traditional political parties and ignored the opposition, citizens and social sectors”.
In addition, he said that until 5 in the afternoon the withdrawal of the tax reform had not been made effective above and asked that all political, social and economic sectors be included, cities be demilitarized and the public force guarantee respect for human rights.

Senator Fernando Velasco, for his part, criticized that another tax reform is being considered “when the priority is economic reactivation and the problem of vaccination”:
“The Government is not reading what is happening in Colombia, and that is very serious,” he added.
The Minister of the Interior, Daniel Palacios, downplayed the complaints and said that the meetings will be held “calmly”Caracol concluded.
