Patrícia Mamona secures triple jump final at indoor Europeans | Athletics

The Portuguese Patrícia Mamona ensured, this Friday morning, the presence in the final of the triple jump of the European Athletics Championships on indoor track, taking place in Istanbul, Turkey, where she will defend the title won in Torun2021.

With 14.09 meters, one centimeter from the direct qualification mark, in her first attempt, the 34-year-old Olympic runner-up advanced to the final, scheduled for Saturday, from 16:50 in Lisbon.

Patrícia Mamona finished qualifying in second place, with the same 14.09m as Turkish Tugba Damismaz, after a null jump and having given up on the third attempt.
