Pentagon creates UFO analysis office

The Pentagon announced this Wednesday the creation of an office to collect and analyze all information on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) detected by the various branches of the United States of America (USA) armed forces.

The “Air Objects Management Synchronization and Identification Group” or AOIMSG, as its acronym, replaces the “Unidentified Air Phenomena Task Force” created in August 2020 and then entrusted to the US Navy. Department of Defense.

The new office will be under the Undersecretary of Defense in charge of Intelligence and Security, a sign that for US forces “unidentified aerial phenomena” are not about science fiction but about very real US adversaries .

Washington is particularly concerned about China’s ability to spy using drones or other aerial means.

The future director of the AOIMSG, not yet appointed, will synchronize activities in this area and the US intelligence services.

Last year, the Pentagon released three videos taken by Navy pilots — one in November 2004 and the other two in January 2015 — showing encounters with “unidentified aerial phenomena.”

In one of them, it is possible to observe an oval object moving quickly and that, a few seconds after being detected by the sensors of the Navy aircraft, disappears after a sudden acceleration.

In another video, you can see an object hovering above the clouds and the pilot wondering if it is a drone.
