Plane with 2 million vaccines against covid-19 takes off from China to the Dominican Republic

The People’s Republic of China has been key in the vaccination plan against covid-19.

The Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Peña, announced today that a shipment with 2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines took off from China to the Dominican Republic.

The vice president and also coordinator of the Health Cabinet, said that the shipment will reach Dominican soil this Wednesday afternoon.

“A plane with 2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines has just taken off from China Flag of China. The arrival tomorrow afternoon to our country Flag of the Dominican Republic marks a before and after for # VacúnateRD. If it’s your turn, this is your moment, get vaccinated! ” indicated on his Twitter account.

The Dominican Republic has about 1,900,000 people vaccinated, of which about 800,000 have already received the second dose, according to data provided by the vice president.
