A 30-year-old man was identified by the Civil Police of Miranda as the author of embezzlement at a commercial establishment in the city on January 11th. The author had already been preventively arrested for qualified theft through breach of trust, and will now respond for embezzlement.

Identified only by the initials WSC, the man bought several fishing materials in the trade and, at the time of payment, presented a false proof of transaction by PIX.

The owner of the injured trade registered a report and then the SIG (General Investigations Section) team, from the Miranda police station, began investigations to determine the authorship of the crime and also locate where the acquired goods were hidden. These were returned to the victim.
