A military police officer was shot while working on the night of Thursday (16), in the locality known as Timbalada, in the neighborhood of Cabula, in Salvador. After the crime, policing was strengthened in the region.
According to the Public Security Secretariat of Bahia (SSP-BA), the soldier was doing a routine patrol when he was hit. He was rescued and taken to a hospital. The folder reported that the police officer is not at risk of life, but there are no details about the state.
Still according to details from the SSP-BA, teams from the Mobile Tactical Patrol Company (Patamo) of the Shock Battalion, the Central Rondesp and the 23rd Independent Company (CIPM) are in the area. There is no estimated date for the end of the operation.
In a note, the folder informed that information about the place used as hideouts by traffickers can be passed on through telephones 181 (Dial Denunciation) and 190 (Cicom).
