António Marquez Filipe is a native of Porto, born in the parish of Sé, administrator of the Symington group and a man involved in a number of causes that make Porto and the Douro noisy (from UTAD to Bagos d’Ouro, passing through Casa da Música or movements that try to prevent the construction of hotel mamarrachos next to the river). He grew up with camel trees at home and likes to enjoy the flowers, although he admits that he is not very good at tending to plants (“I have someone who can take care of the matter for me”).
