Princess Charlène of Monaco before the turning point after a second operation

Princess Charlene from Monaco has successfully undergone another operation in South Africa according to official information. The operation was carried out on Friday under general anesthesia and went “very well”, said a representative of the palace on Saturday. The princess had to remain “under observation” for 48 hours, but thereafter there would be no further operations as a result of her severe ENT infection.

Charlène back in Monaco in October?

The 43-year-old former South African swimmer has been in her old homeland for months – according to official figures – to recover from an ear, nose and throat infection that she contracted in May. In mid-August, after an operation, she was taken care of by her husband Albert and visited their twins. Almost no details were given about the procedure, which lasted several hours. Most recently, Charlène indicated that she would like to travel back to Monaco at the end of October. Albert was also optimistic in interviews. It remains to be seen whether she will actually be able to travel in three weeks after the new operation.
