The president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), José Ignacio Paliza, yesterday swore in two councilmen of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) and the Liberal Action Party (PAL), who become part of that political organization.
According to a press release from the PRM, the swearing-in ceremony took place at the National House of that party and was linked by deputy Juan José Roja.
The new members are the council members Juan Zapata Sosa, from the PRD, and Luis Aníbal Familia Reyes, from the Liberal Action Party (PAL), who pledged to work for institutional strengthening.
The mayor of the municipality of San Antonio de Guerra, César Gómez and Frank Rosario, municipal president, among others, were present at the event.
Later, the PRM met with its leadership of that municipality with a view to strengthening that political organization during a meeting held in one of the commandos in Manoguayabo de Santo Domingo Oeste.
The meeting was led by the president of the PRM, José Ignacio Paliza, and the general secretary, Carolina Mejía, who received a great ovation from those present, the statement added.
