A personnel reshuffle has taken place in the Kremlin. Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Dmitry Mironov “Of his own free will” left the regional post and became an assistant to the president in charge of the security bloc. Putin’s decree has already been published.

Mironov from 1990 to 2013 served in the KGB and state security agencies. From 2013 to 2016, he held high positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Taking into account the bureaucrat’s “power” past, the new appointment looks logical.

The previous assistant in the power unit – Anatoly Serysheva – Putin made him his plenipotentiary representative in the Siberian Federal District. The seat of the plenipotentiary in the Siberian Federal District has been empty for six months, since Sergei Menyailo appointed Acting Head of North Ossetia (On September 19, the republican parliament officially approved him as the head of the region).

Ex-Deputy Head of the FAS Mikhail Evraev became the Acting Governor of the Yaroslavl Region.

– For you, the proposal that has been made now is quite unexpected, as far as I understand. What do you think about it? – Putin asked Evraev via video link.

– I got acquainted with the problems that exist in the Yaroslavl region. Of course, people are primarily concerned about the maintenance of roads, transport problems, the problems of housing and communal services, of course, the rise in prices, – replied the acting governor.

“I want to wish you success, for my part I will be ready to do everything to support you,” the president admonished. Not all regional heads have such support for Putin.
