Thanks to the impressive cast, which unites German and international stars like Brad Pitt, Daniel Brühl and Mélanie Laurent, Inglourious Basterds is above all one great theatrical moment for Christoph Waltz.

The Austrian embodies his SS officer Hans Landa as intelligent, charming and diabolical monsterwho speaks German, English, French and partly Italian. Waltz plays all the other actors: inside in common scenes, effortlessly against the wall. The role rightly meant the big breakthrough for the actor.
