Record TV Itapoan is investigating whether donations per pix, made by viewers in a program, were diverted by employees. According to information on the Bahia Notícias website, the internal investigation was instituted after a donor got in touch to find out the outcome of the aid granted to a sick child.
Still according to information on the website, several meetings in the direction have already been held to identify the names. In a note sent to the Bahia Notícias website by the station’s journalism director, Gustavo Orlandi, RecordTV Itapoan only informed that “has received the complaints, investigates the facts and will take all appropriate legal measures for the case”.
