A select ministerial committee took place this Thursday morning at the federal level. We are preparing the consultation committee on Friday, associating the federated entities. It is particularly a question of “travel” and return from vacation in the red zone. Decisions will have to be confirmed tomorrow.
Un small ministerial committee (kern) took place this Thursday morning on the federal level, in order to set out guidelines for the work of the consultation committee (codeco) on Friday afternoon.
It is understood, we are told, that the codeco will implement the decisions taken during the last edition of the genre, in May, and which will apply from June 9, as planned, for what concerns hospitality and culture. Requests relating to additional relaxations for July-August will be dealt with during a new codeco which will take place in mid-June.
There is talk of harmonizing the closing hours in the catering industry between inside (10 p.m. currently) and outside (11:30 p.m. currently): we are talking about aligning the hours with 11:30 p.m. The codeco will decide on Friday.
For the rest, on Friday, we will talk about “trips”. A few decisions emerge after the kern this Thursday morning, which will have to be confirmed on Friday. This: back from vacation in a red zone, vaccinated Belgians will be exempt from testing and quarantine. Unvaccinated people will be exempt from quarantine but will have to undergo a PCR test on their return (always from a red zone), and this from the age of 6 years.
