The singer Rita Lee was discharged from Albert Einstein Hospital, in São Paulo, where he was hospitalized since the early hours of February 24. The information was confirmed by the artist’s husband, Roberto de Carvalho, this Saturday (4), on a social network.
Rita Lee was diagnosed with a primary tumor in the left lung and had to undergo treatment with immunotherapy and radiotherapy. According to the artist’s husband, the hospitalization was made to carry out monitoring tests and therapies.
“We appreciate the tsunami of love, affection and positivity we have received. Thank you so. And let’s go ahead, and may the Great Lights of the Universe be guiding us in all ways”, he wrote at the time.
With the return home, who also celebrated the moment was the son of the singer, João, who posted a photo of Rita sitting in an armchair.
“Welcome home,” he said, in English, as he posted the photo.
Last Wednesday (1st), the singer’s children, João and Beto Lee, reassured Rita’s fans after false rumors emerged that the singer had died.
“Guys, my mother is fine. I’m here with her now. She is eating ice cream. Do not fall into fake news ”, wrote João.
