Roberto Guzmán, photojournalist of the Attorney General’s Office, dies

The photojournalist of the Attorney General’s Office died today, Roberto Guzman. He had had a traffic accident with a journalist on the Duarte highway when they were traveling in a vehicle to carry out work for the institution.

Guzmán was in poor health due to cranial trauma since the date of the accident on October 4.

The lens professional was admitted to the Traumatological Hospital of La Vega for about two weeks, from where he was transferred to the Metropolitan Hospital of Santiago (Homs), where he died this afternoon.

Guzmán was 40 years old, married, and had three children. He lived in Ciudad Real II, in the National District. He had worked for various media outlets, including the Diario Libre and El Caribe newspapers.

So far the details of the funeral and his burial are unknown.
