In the Jan van Nassaustraat, in the center of Ronse, a 72-year-old man was found lifeless in the house in which he lived with his sister on Wednesday afternoon. The man had been dead for more than eight days. “There is no question of malicious intent. It is a natural death,” the police confirmed.

When the home nurse and the family doctor did not get into the house yesterday, the emergency services were notified. They made the gruesome discovery when they arrived. On the top floor of the neglected house they found the lifeless body of a man. In white protective suits they entered the house, where there was a pungent odor. The seventy-year-old lived with his sister of the same age. He ran the errands. She was on the bum. When the ambulance arrived, she was immediately taken and taken to hospital.

What neighbors feared for a while has now become reality. Both oldies haven’t been out much lately. “How can something like this be discovered so late?” onlookers wondered.
