The rain that fell in Salvador last weekend should continue to hit the city throughout this week, according to a forecast released this Monday (13) by the Civil Defense (Codesal).

According to the agency, the problem is caused by a low pressure system (trough), combined with the action of the South Atlantic Subtropical High (ASAS). There is risk for landslides for every day.

Between this Monday and Tuesday (14), the forecast is for cloudy to partly cloudy skies with light to moderate rain, at any time of the day.

On Wednesday (15), the weather should be partly cloudy with light rain at any time of the day. Between Thursday (16) and Sunday (19), the forecast is for cloudy skies with light to moderate rainfall, at any time of the day.

Throughout the week, temperatures should vary between 24 °C (minimum) and 31 °C (maximum).
