A 7-year-old man who was critically injured in a fatal car accident that took place yesterday in Limassol is fighting for his life.
The 7-year-old was riding a large three-wheeled motorcycle driven by his 43-year-old neighbor. The latter expired with his transport to the Hospital while the child was first transported to the General Hospital of Limassol, then to the General Hospital of Nicosia to be taken to Makareio Hospital.
According to the person in charge of the Limassol traffic accident, Emilio Kafa, while the 43-year-old Russian was riding his motorcycle with the seven-year-old child as a passenger, under the circumstances under investigation, he lost control and as a result crashed violently into a house wall.
“The two passengers were not wearing protective helmets and during the overturning of the motorcycle, they both fell on the asphalt, resulting in their serious injury and the subsequent death of the 43-year-old,” Mr. Kafas said in a statement.
As he said, “the motorcycle is three-wheeled, it is registered in the Republic. It is allowed to circulate but under certain conditions and with a special category license for this vehicle “.
