A premiere with an upset for Ajax


Aya made a winning debut in this year’s Eredivisie and even with an upset, passing 3-2 at the home of Fortuna Sittard of Siova and Sourli.

The team of Dimitris Siovas, who played as a starter, and Vassilis Sourlis, who stayed on the bench, surprised Ayantas and took the lead in just the sixth minute. Ajax had the overwhelming superiority in the first half, without managing to equalize the match.

In the second half, however, he comfortably reached the upset, with three goals in 14 minutes. Taylor equalized in the 48th minute, and Reds and Brombie made it 3-1 with goals in the 51st and 62nd minutes.

Fortuna did not give up and reduced the score in the 87th minute with a goal by Yilmaz, but was unable to do anything more.
