In the middle of climate change, unusual high and low temperatures, air conditioning has become a modern problem for different reasons. And one of the new players in this debate is the billionaire Bill Gates.
There is an energetic and commercial background in the use of artificial air conditioning. Air conditioning use has doubled since 2000, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA), causing further concern for future generations.

Bill Gates appears in this context with his Breahtrough Energy fund, dedicated to promoting energy renewal. To do this, according to a report on the Xataka website, 20 million dollars have been invested in one of the start-ups aimed at creating air conditioners with less climate impact: Blue Frontier.
This arises as a result of the use of chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons that are used in this industry, and that have caused damage to the ozone layer. New options are now being sought such as the Blue Frontier which uses a saline solution as a liquid desiccant for refrigeration. This allows you not only to use up to a fifth less of the problematic substances, but also to reduce your energy bill by between 50 and 90%.
This is how the world is preparing. There is work to be done to reduce environmental impact; however, industrial machinery continues to move and pollute faster. It will be enough?
