Honor has presented his new smartphone folding flagship, Magic Vs, the first to be marketed outside of China and which supports up to 400,000 folds thanks to the design of its hinge and the use of aerospace-quality materials, and which accompanies the launch of the new Honor 80 series.
The new generation of the Honor foldable will initially debut in China, a country where the company has presented it this Wednesday, but It will be the first of this brand to be marketed in other markets, as confirmed by the CEO of Honor Device, George Zhao.

Magic Vs is a thin device, which has a thickness of 12.3mm, and light, with a weight of 261 grams. Its design boasts a gearless hinge systemmade with a technology of one-piece casting processingwhich drastically reduces the number of components in its support structure from 92 to 4 without sacrificing its durability and robustness.
The construction of this hinge, based on aerospace grade materials, supports more than 400,000 foldsthe equivalent of more than ten years of use with one hundred folds a day, as the company has highlighted.
This equipment has a 6.45 inch full screen With a 21:9 aspect ratio and 90% screen-to-body ratio, designed to be easy to operate with one hand. When unfolded, the device offers a tablet-like experience with a 7.9-inch internal screen.

This display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and offers up to 1.07 billion colors and supports a refresh rate up to 120Hz. In addition, both screens are equipped with the 1920Hz PWM technology to reduce flicker and offer a comfortable viewing experience even in low-light environments.
The new foldable also includes solutions such as ‘Dynamic Dimming’, which intelligently and dynamically adjusts screen brightness to reduce eye fatigue, and ‘Circadian Night Screen’, which minimizes the negative effects of blue light and helps users improve sleep quality.

Honor Magic Vs has a triple camera system that includes a 54MP IMX800 main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide macro and an 8MP 3x optical zoom camera. The brand’s patented artificial intelligence image engine brings users closer to the “best-in-class computational photography capabilities, capturing high-quality images in all scenarios”.
Also, this foldable smartphone is equipped with the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and it is available in a version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. Inside the chassis houses a 5,000mAh batterywith support for 66W fast wired charging, which offers a full charge in 46 minutes.
