an ambitious invention has been created by the hand of the Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini. This is Pangeos, a turtle-shaped cruise ship that aims to house 60,000 crew members inside. The project could cost the creator nothing more and nothing less than US$ 8,000 million.

The cruise was named after Pangea, a supercontinent that existed millions of years ago, between 200 and 335 exactly. The Italian study, which devised the design of this means of transport since 2009, indicated that its measurements would reach 500 meters long and 610 meters wide.
In addition, it intends that people in this floating city can access and visit shopping centers, hotels, parks and, as if that were not enough, landing at ports of planes and ships.

The Pangeos hull is composed of nine different prows and subdivided into several blocks. For its propulsion, the gigantic yacht uses nine HTS (high temperature superconductors)In addition, each engine is electric and powered by multiple power sources on board.
“While sailing, the big wings will get energy from breaking waves and Pangeos will perpetually sail emission-free around the seas of planet Earth. Also, the roof area is lined with solar panelswhich provide part of the clean energy needed to propel the terayate”collects the web page of the project.

The place chosen for its construction is Saudi Arabia, where, in addition, they would need to remove about a square kilometer of sea to build a circular dam before starting the official construction. King Abdullah Port, 81 miles north of Jeddah, is the place to be.
To reach financing, the design studio is selling virtual spaces from the cruise ship. The accommodations they offer range from apartments and houses to “super villas”. “Slots are available for sale through an NFT collection or PayPal deposit”he added.

At the moment Pageos is just a project; however, it is expected that construction can begin in 2023.
