Responsibility for the global consequences of sanctions against Russia, including possible famine in some countries, lies with Western countries that, for the sake of their sovereignty, are ready to sacrifice the rest of the world, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking during an economy-focused meeting on Thursday, Putin noted that several countries are already facing the threat of a famine spectrum, adding that if sanctions against Russia continue, the EU could also face consequences that would be difficult to reverse. .
“The responsibility for this lies fully and fully with the elites of the western countries who, for the sake of maintaining their world domination, are ready to sacrifice the rest of the world,” the Russian president said.
Putin said Russia was confidently facing external challenges, thanks to both the responsible macroeconomic policy of recent years and systemic solutions to strengthen economic sovereignty and technological and food security.
