Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader
The Warhammer 40,000 universe continues to make inroads into the gaming industry, even if it doesn’t quite hit the mark with every title. Rogue Trader once again revisits the turn-based strategy genre, created by Owlcat Games. In our giant ship, we travel through various systems throughout the Koronus Expanse. It depends on your decisions whether you will remain loyal to the Empire or, with the vision of easy profit, take the side of the enemy at least for a while.
Of course, you won’t be traveling alone. A group of fighters with unique abilities will join the fights. The developers promise a sophisticated combat system, where the environment itself will play a very important role.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
Warhammer’s take on Rogue Trader isn’t over. Its early release was also commemorated by the Darktide co-op event from the creators of the excellent Vermintide. At the end of November, you will be able to embark on a brutal carving, where you will face the hordes of Chaos in really durable suits. Unlike Vermintide, firearms play a much more important role this time. But you still have the option to grab a giant hammer or an ax and fight your way through the hordes at close range.
Dungeons of the Amber Griffin
It may seem like the dungeon crawler genre is long dead. Although it has passed its heyday, there is still something new every now and then, and Dungeons of Amber Griffin does not look bad at all. Let’s take a look at the world called Kashubia. Dangerous monsters began to roam his lands. A group of 4 heroes with different professions will go on a quest. Among them you will find classics such as warrior, poppy or priest. The composition of their abilities and equipment is entirely up to you.
An asymmetric sci-fi multiplayer where a team of scientists try to fix the electricity source so everyone can get to safety. But they are not alone at their research station. They were attacked by monsters, against whom they often cannot defend themselves even with a weapon in hand. The second team of players, who are currently in the role of monsters, is exactly suited to this situation.
Light is much more effective against them, around which you have to adapt your tactics. But there is not much of it. Due to a damaged power source, you rarely get anything better than flares. Together, you must slow down the monsters enough to escape.
Kerbal Space Program 2
After delays, the sequel to the space simulator Kerbal Space Program is finally set to be released in Early Access on Steam at the end of February. At the PC Gaming Show, we saw some gameplay footage. In addition, the second volume should be more accessible to newcomers thanks to fully animated and interactive tutorials that will introduce you to the basics of space travel.
From the basic mechanics, the game will gradually expand to more and more complex mechanics, but from day one we should be able to create machines of all kinds. In addition, the developers promised that you will be able to transfer your creations from the first part to the sequel.
In this post-apocalyptic world, we will try to survive in an inhospitable environment in which, in addition to animals, alien monsters also roam. People call them Stardust. Due to their influence, some survivors can use supernatural abilities, and you are one of them. You can go the lone wolf route or build a base with other players. In addition to having enough food and water, you must also ensure that your character does not succumb to insanity. The worse your mental state is, the lower your maximum hit points and overall weaker character.
In this viking survival game, you have to take care not only of your own survival, but also of a group of villagers. After a long journey, you have finally come across an uninhabited land that you would like to make your new home. But the wilderness here is quite cruel. Fights with various mythical enemies await you. But you don’t have to be alone. In addition to the villagers, 3 other players will be able to keep you company.
