The three accused for the murder of the 60-year-old in a rural area of ​​Anarita will remain in custody until June 23, when the trial will begin before the Permanent Criminal Court meeting in Paphos.

On Wednesday, the Paphos District Court referred a direct trial before the Paphos Permanent Criminal Court, on June 23, to the three, aged 41, 34 and 27, who were arrested for the murder of 60-year-old Leontios Pogiatzis last summer.

The Prosecution had asked the Court that all three remain in custody until the start of the hearing, but their lawyers objected to the request and demanded that they be released on parole. The court announced its decision today, Friday, and ordered that they remain in custody until the start of the proceedings.
