Sadness was spread by the news of the death of 48-year-old Charalambos Savvas, who lost his life while playing football.
According to the Police, while playing football in an area in Dromolaxia, the 48-year-old lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground.
An ambulance rushed to the scene and transported the unfortunate 48-year-old to the Larnaca General Hospital, where the doctors on duty pronounced him dead.
Haris served the National Guard for over 25 years. In the last 11 years, as a Winch Operator in helicopters, he participated in dozens of Search-Rescue and Aerial Firefighting missions, with a total experience of more than 1250 flight hours.
His funeral will be held tomorrow Saturday 6/8/22 at 16:00 at the church of Agios Savvas, in Livadia.
