A skid followed by an overturning of a light passenger vehicle cut off access from Rua de Entrecampos to Via de Cintura Interna (VCI), in Porto, a source from Sapadores Firefighters told Lusa.
The alert was given at 4:38 pm and, shortly afterwards, access to the VCI was cut off by the authorities, while the victim who had been trapped in the vehicle was assisted, added the source.
Assisted at the scene, the victim, who was also the only person in the vehicle that crashed, had only minor injuries, said the Sapadores source.
At 5:21 pm, according to the Civil Protection page, 15 operators were still on site assisted by five vehicles, with the mission of removing the vehicle and cleaning the road, the source said.
