Four new characters join the world of the Grishaverse.
Six months after the official announcement of season 2, Shadow and Bone gives his news. The Netflix production has just signed four new actors to play new characters and three other cast members have been promoted to series regulars. Filming is starting right now.

In detail, Jack Wolfe (The Witcher) will play Wylan Hendriks – also known as Wylan Van Eck – a member of the Six of Crows who uses his mother’s maiden name.
Patrick Gibson (The OA) will be Nikolai Lantsov, the son of King Ravkan Alexander III with his own private fleet.
Anna Leong Brophy (Traces) will play Tamar Kir-Bataar, a “Heartrender” and close friend of Alina.
Finally, Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat) arrives as Tolya Yul-Bataar, Tamar’s twin brother and another “Heartrender”.
Separately, Daisy Head was promoted to regular rank as Genya Safin, the Queen’s assistant who conspired with Kirigan to spy on Alina and poison the King. The same goes for Danielle Galligan and Calahan Skogman, who play Nina and Mattias, the “Heartrender” and the “Drüskelle” who fell in love with each other after being shipwrecked …
