Mid-Credit Scene: Surprise Visit
First, the colorful credits are interrupted by a mid-credit scene in which Shazam receives a visit from two emissaries from the hard-hitting Amanda Waller, who also put “The Suicide Squad” together. The two guests Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) and John Economos (Steve Agee) are known, for example, from the series “Peacemaker”. They offer the hero membership in an association that begins with “Justice”, but unfortunately does not end with “League”, but establishes a relationship with “Black Adam”.
Therefore, the Wonder Woman fan Shazam reacts with great disappointment and drives his guests to flee with constant ramblings. The child superhero can’t resist even an Avengers allusion, but he certainly won’t switch over to the MCU, even though his original comic book name is actually Captain Marvel (fun fact!).
