Shazam! Fury of the Gods Review: Divine Evil Mirren and Liu

Credits with surprises

Setting aside the considerable lengths, this second part often provides witty entertainment of the ‘Superman for teenagers’ brand and turns out to be a little less violent than the first film. You are also rewarded for waiting so long, because the end credits sequence is really impressive with its imaginative animations.

Anyone who has made it this far should hold out to the very end. In the post-credits scene, another character has to have a lot of patience: An old acquaintance is reintroduced there and is left on hold, so to speak. Let’s hope that he finally manages to leave his prison walls behind in “Shazam! 3”.
